Hanson Xia, Research Associate, arrives at Murphy Research from an academic and professional background in public health. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BS in Cognitive Neuroscience before earning his MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham a few years later. In parallel to his academic pursuits, he developed his analytical skills by working on epidemiological and evaluative public health projects with local health departments and community organizations in Colorado and California. In his free time, Hanson enjoys climbing, going to shows, and consulting Google Maps for which restaurant to try next. Hanson is dedicated to applying his mixed-methods research skills in Murphy’s client-facing environment.
