What are we doing about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion?

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force at Murphy Research was born out of a desire to ensure Murphy Research is part of the solution when it comes to addressing issues around discrimination, racism, and the lack of equity in our country. We are dedicated to building mechanisms that hold us all accountable to diversity and inclusion initiatives within our own organizational culture, while also using our unique talents as researchers to spread this impact to our clients and the greater market research community.

We recognize we don’t have all the answers to these complex societal issues of our time, which hold a deep-rooted history, but we are committed to showing up, educating ourselves, learning best practices, and disseminating knowledge and recommendations to the rest of the company. We aim to build a safe space where employees of all backgrounds are given a voice at the table, feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to the conversation, to be heard, to be cared for, and to work with us to build a more equitable society starting right here within our own walls.

Our plan is two-fold:

1. To become more educated, more informed, and strengthen our ability to create dialogue and growth when it comes to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

2. To take what we know and what we learn into action!
